We are delighted to offer this unmatched 2000 BMW 318i E36 Convertible for sale. The 3 Series has been the heart of the BMW range since its inception in 1977 with the E21. The E36 was launched in 1990 and is the third generation 3 Series and was offered until late 1999 when it was succeeded by the E46.
The car we have for sale is a 2000 BMW 318i E36 Convertible with only 25,000 miles on the clock. Ordered new to Jersey by Jacksons CI BMW in September 1999, the same month production of the E36 ended. The car was handed over in March 2000 to the family whose ownership it has remained in until now. This car is believed to be the last E36 BMW ever sold on the Channel Islands.
This particular car was ordered to an extremely high specification. Finished in Fern Green metallic with matching Green soft top and factory optional Bicolour Sea Green Leather interior. Additional options selected were an Automatic transmission, the ‘Business’ package consisting of an RDS Radio and Cassette player, ‘M’ spec leather steering wheel and gear knob, alloy wheels, air conditioning and factory fitted over mats.
This car is in ‘time warp’ condition. The bodywork is entirely original, it is rust and dent free. The paintwork is exceptional and of show quality. The optional alloy wheels appear factory fresh and are complimented by a matching set of Pirelli tyres. The electric hood is pristine and fully functioning.
The exterior condition is mirrored by the interior with near unmarked leather, crack free dash and pristine door trims. The boot compartment shows little wear and is complimented by its original, unused tool kit, Pirelli spare tyre, Jack and first aid kit.
Mechanically, everything is as good as you would expect from a car with such a thorough and comprehensive service record. It drives beautifully, with a smooth ride and gearbox. The car exhibits no mechanical flaws, with all electrics and air conditioning working correctly.
The car is offered with all its original books, service book, handbook, 2 sets of keys as well as all Jersey registration paperwork and a fresh 12 Month advisory free MOT.
