Here at SGT Automobiles, we are delighted to offer this low mileage 2002 Honda S2000 for sale. The Honda S2000 was created in the late 1990s as a 50th birthday present to themselves, it has subsequently become something of a cult legend, being widely regarded as the best small convertible sportscar from the early 2000s.
The car we have for sale is an extremely impressive example of this iconic Japanese sportscar. The bodywork is impeccable with no signs of corrosion or dents. The Metallic Nürburgring Blue paintwork is also as good as you will likely find, a testament to how well looked after the car has been. The factory supplied alloy wheels have recently been refurbished and are in immaculate condition
The underside too is free of any rust or corrosion as a result of it being dry stored for many years by a previous owner who was a Harley Street doctor and used the car as a weekend treat. The original glass windowed hood presents ok and is watertight, it will soon need replacing as a couple of cracks have started to appear, however, it is certainly serviceable and works perfectly every time.
Mechanically our car is everything you would hope from a 78,000-mile Honda S2000. It drives superbly, the high revving Vtec engine paired with the racy gearbox and short wheelbase makes for a perfect combination. Just this summer the car has had nearly £1000 spent on it, including the fitting of a new OEM Slave and Master cylinder.
The interior is equally as impressive as the rest of the car. The Black Leather bucket seats are unmarked and the rest of the interior is flawless. The boot compartment is spotless and contains the original jack and tools. The engine bay is presented very well with no rust, corrosion or leaks.
This car represents a brilliant opportunity to own a low mileage, unspoiled, totally original version of a legendary Japanese sportscar which is only increasing in popularity. It is a car that is incredibly engaging to drive, while also being extremely usable.
