SGT Automobiles are proud to over this remarkably low mileage 1993 Mercedes-Benz 190E 2.0 Automatic for sale. To many, the W201 series 190E is the definitive Mercedes Benz of the late 80s, early 90s and this car, the 2.0 automatic finished in Metallic Nautical Blue paint with Andor Blue ‘Sacco Panels’ is not only one of the best configurations but is also potentially one of the most impressive examples on the market.
Our Mercedes 190E is a very late example, being first registered in late 1993 making it one of the last, as production ceased in May 1993. This car was supplied new by J.R. Tragger, the car still wears its original dealer supplied plates. The most recent owner being a well-respected Mercedes collector where the car spent its entire time stored in the very best conditions, with the utmost care and attention. Because of this the car has remained in remarkably tidy and original condition.
The car we have for sale here is particularly striking. The bodywork is immaculate with no rust, dents or corrosion to be seen. The Nautical Blue Metallic paint is in largely original condition with minimal imperfections, while the ‘Sacco Panels’ which are finished in Andor Blue are equally as well presented, a testament to its minimal use and sympathetic storage over the years. The underside, once more needs to be seen to be believed, with no signs of corrosion or any mechanical wear.
The interior of this car very much mirrors the exterior. The remarkably well-preserved seats including optional armrest are finished in beige check cloth and are unmarked, along with all of the wooden trim around the centre console with no cracks present. The original, dealer fitted Blaupunkt radio is present along with cd stacker in the boot. As for the boot, it appears like new, the original spare wheel, jack, tool kit and warning triangle are all present and kept within.
Mechanically, this Mercedes 190E drives exactly how you would imagine a 22,000-mile Mercedes to drive. It is responsive, smooth and an entirely joyous experience. All the electricals, including sunroof, work as they should. A fresh, advisory free 12-Month MOT has just been obtained underlining the high standards this car has been looked after with.
This era of Mercedes are particularly renowned for their build quality, with many having covered hundreds of thousands of miles, so to find one with this limited amount of use is increasingly rare and not an opportunity likely to be repeated.
